A squeak, clunk, vibration or pulling sensation can come from more than one place. Control arms, bushings, ball joints, tie rods, shocks, struts, springs, sway-bar links, tires and wheel alignment can create similar symptoms. Replacing the most commonly blamed part without inspecting the connected systems can waste money and leave the original problem unresolved.
Our process starts with what the vehicle is doing. We review when the symptom occurs, inspect the steering and suspension components, evaluate tire wear and ride height, and determine whether measurement, alignment testing or a road test is appropriate. We then explain the findings and build the estimate around the confirmed condition of the vehicle.

Repair recommendations depend on the vehicle, system design and inspection findings. Our Spring Mountain mechanical team services traditional, performance, air and hydraulic suspension systems.
Mechanical failure and normal wear can receive different treatment under a service contract. Bring your plan and see how we coordinate extended warranty repairs.
You can book wheel alignment at Universal Motorcars even when you are not having suspension parts replaced. We provide wheel-alignment service for passenger, luxury and performance vehicles at Spring Mountain, and for Tesla vehicles at both Las Vegas locations.
Pulling, an off-center steering wheel or uneven tire wear can be reasons to have the alignment checked. We inspect the relevant tires, steering and suspension, measure the wheel angles and adjust them as needed to the applicable specifications. If worn or damaged components are affecting the result, we explain the repairs needed first.
Universal Motorcars provides independent Tesla suspension, control-arm, steering and wheel-alignment service at both Las Vegas locations. We confirm the repair scope for your Tesla’s model, year, equipment and inspection findings.
Bring your Tesla in for squeaking or clunking, pulling, an off-center steering wheel, uneven tire wear or a handling change after a curb or pothole impact. We inspect the related suspension, steering, wheels and tires before recommending parts or alignment.
Alignment cannot repair a worn joint, damaged control arm or damaged wheel. We explain whether the findings call for repair, an alignment check or adjustment. After suspension work, the required checks depend on the component and the applicable vehicle-specific procedure.

Modern luxury and performance vehicles may use electronically controlled dampers, air springs, ride-height sensors, adaptive suspension or model-specific alignment procedures. Universal Motorcars services suspension concerns on Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Maserati, Land Rover, Lexus, Cadillac, Corvette and other domestic, European and Asian vehicles.
We do not assume that every warning, noise or uneven stance requires a complete suspension replacement. The correct repair may involve a worn bushing, leaking air spring, damaged control arm, sensor concern, compressor problem, tire condition or another related component. We inspect the system and discuss the supported repair plan before work begins.
For complete mechanical repair beyond suspension, visit our Las Vegas auto repair services page.

A vehicle that sags overnight, sits unevenly, rides harshly, takes too long to rise or displays a suspension warning needs diagnosis—not an automatic parts list. Air and hydraulic systems can be affected by leaks, worn air springs, compressors, valves, lines, electrical connections, sensors or control concerns.
Universal Motorcars evaluates air and hydraulic suspension systems on luxury, performance and custom vehicles. Available repair scope depends on the vehicle, system, parts availability and confirmed findings. Our goal is to restore appropriate ride height, comfort and handling without replacing components that testing does not support.
Request ServiceA hard pothole, curb strike or collision can affect more than a tire or visible body panel. The impact may change wheel alignment, bend a steering or suspension component, damage a wheel, disturb ride height or create a new vibration, pull or warning message.
At Spring Mountain, our mechanical and collision teams can coordinate the inspection when impact damage crosses between the body, steering, suspension, wheels and alignment. When insurance is involved, accident-related findings can be documented as part of the repair process while coverage decisions remain with the insurer.
For visible accident damage, learn about our Las Vegas collision repair process.
Tell us when the noise, pull, vibration or ride-height change occurs and whether it followed a pothole, curb strike, collision or previous repair.
We evaluate the relevant steering, suspension, wheel and tire components and check for wear, looseness, leaks or visible damage.
We explain which component is worn, damaged or out of specification, what supports the recommendation and whether alignment or further testing is needed. You can review the repair scope and estimate before authorizing work.
After authorization, the confirmed components are repaired. Alignment or other verification is completed when the procedure requires it.

Our mechanical team combines automotive experience with a diagnosis-first process for conventional, luxury, performance, air and hydraulic suspension systems.
When a curb strike or accident affects the body and the way the vehicle drives, our teams can coordinate the mechanical and collision portions of the repair.
We explain the inspection results, recommended work and estimate before repairs begin. A symptom alone is not treated as proof that a specific part failed.
Common signs include clunking or squeaking over bumps, excessive bouncing, nose-diving while braking, pulling, wandering, uneven tire wear, vibration, poor steering response or a vehicle sitting lower on one side. These symptoms can have several causes, so an inspection is needed before identifying the failed component.
A clunk can come from worn control-arm bushings, ball joints, sway-bar links, strut mounts, shocks, steering components or another loose or damaged part. The location and timing of the noise help guide the inspection, but the sound alone does not confirm which part needs replacement.
Not necessarily. Tell us the speed range and whether the shake changes when you brake, accelerate or turn. Tire and wheel condition, balance, steering and suspension concerns can overlap. If it happens mainly while braking, brake vibration and brake inspection belong in the evaluation too. An alignment adjusts wheel angles; it does not repair a damaged tire, bent wheel or loose component.
A severe new shake, damaged tire or loss of steering control needs a safe stop and assistance. Do not try to reproduce an unsafe vibration just to describe it.
Yes. Worn or damaged suspension and steering components can change how the tire contacts the road. Alignment, tire condition, inflation and driving history can also contribute, so we evaluate the connected systems rather than assuming alignment is the only cause.
No. Alignment is performed when the repair, measurements or vehicle condition require it. Some steering and suspension replacements change wheel geometry, while other repairs may not. We determine the appropriate verification from the affected components and repair procedure.
Yes. Our Spring Mountain team services suspension concerns on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche and other European, luxury, domestic and Asian vehicles. The available repair depends on the vehicle, suspension design, inspection findings and parts availability.
Yes. Universal Motorcars evaluates and repairs selected air and hydraulic suspension concerns, including sagging, uneven ride height, leaks, compressor operation, air springs and related sensors or components when applicable. We confirm the cause before recommending parts.
Yes. A hard impact can damage a wheel or tire, bend steering or suspension components, change alignment or create new noises and vibrations. If the vehicle pulls, the steering wheel is no longer centered or the ride changes after an impact, schedule an inspection.
