Where can I find an INFINITI-certified body shop in Las Vegas?
Universal Motorcars is listed in the INFINITI Certified Collision Repair Network at 5585 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89146. Use the official INFINITI facility directory and look for Universal Motorcars; you can also search ZIP code 89146. Call 702-754-6774 to arrange your visit to this certified location.
What does INFINITI collision certification mean for my repair?
Certification means the facility meets INFINITI’s collision network requirements for training, equipment and operations. The program includes I-CAR Gold Class status, supplemental INFINITI training and third-party verification. At Universal Motorcars, we use vehicle-specific repair information to guide the proposed work, including parts, body repairs and required electronic checks.
Can you repair scratches, dents or bumper damage without an insurance claim?
Yes. You can pay Universal Motorcars directly for cosmetic and body repairs without opening an insurance claim. We inspect the damage and explain the practical options: a surface mark, a deep scratch and a cracked bumper may need different work. Our paint and refinishing team also assesses color matching and any blending needed around the repair.
Can I choose Universal if my insurer recommends another shop?
Yes. Nevada law allows an insured person or claimant to choose a licensed repair shop. Your choice of shop does not by itself determine what your policy covers or what the insurer will pay. We review the estimate, document supported repair items and explain disputed items or amounts you may need to pay. See Nevada’s repair-shop choice law, NRS 690B.016 ↗.
What if the insurer’s first estimate is low or you find hidden damage?
We compare the estimate with the damage and document additional supported work. An initial estimate may cover only what was visible before disassembly. During authorized inspection, we photograph findings and prepare a supplement for insurer review when needed. Approval is a separate step; we explain changes to the repair plan, timing and any customer payment. Learn how we document an insurance repair.
Will my repair use genuine INFINITI parts?
INFINITI recommends genuine INFINITI parts, and we review parts choices against the applicable repair requirements. We explain the parts proposed for your vehicle and raise supported concerns about alternatives with the insurer. Coverage, availability, vehicle condition and any lease requirements can affect the discussion. We do not assume every policy will pay for every proposed part; ask us to walk through the parts section of your estimate.
Could bumper, mirror or windshield work require scanning or calibration?
Yes, depending on your INFINITI’s equipment and the work performed. A scan checks electronic systems; calibration is a separate procedure for applicable cameras or sensors. For example, INFINITI calls for Around View Monitor calibration when a camera or its mounting part is removed, installed or replaced. Windshield and bumper work must be assessed against the specific vehicle’s procedures. No warning light does not rule out a stored fault or a required calibration. See our scanning and calibration service.
How do you decide whether a damaged panel can be repaired?
We consider the material, extent and location of damage, access to the area and the repair methods allowed for that vehicle. We also inspect attachment points and nearby components. A repairable dent and a damaged structural section can call for very different decisions. After inspection, we explain why we recommend repairing or replacing the part and what refinishing the work involves.
Is a photo estimate enough, and what does your free estimate include?
Photos are useful for a first conversation, but they cannot establish the full repair scope. Our free preliminary visual estimate covers the damage we can assess without chargeable diagnosis or disassembly. Bring the vehicle, accident photos and any insurer’s estimate, and tell us about warning lights or changes in how it drives. We explain and obtain authorization separately for diagnosis or disassembly that carries a charge.
What should I do if my INFINITI cannot be driven?
Call Universal Motorcars at 702-754-6774 to discuss towing or authorized impound retrieval; do not drive a vehicle you believe is unsafe. INFINITI also offers collision towing to the nearest certified center at 1-800-662-6200. Its complimentary offer applies when the vehicle is within 50 miles of a certified center; confirm eligibility and destination with the dispatcher. Impound release, storage and other charges require separate arrangements. View INFINITI’s collision towing information ↗.
Can you help coordinate a rental while my INFINITI is being repaired?
Yes, we can help coordinate a rental where insurance coverage or another arrangement is available. Confirm the approved daily allowance, covered days and payment method with your insurer or rental provider. Availability and any extension are separate from the repair authorization. If the repair schedule changes, we explain the change so you can check whether additional rental days are covered.
How long will the repair take, and how will I receive updates?
We give you a more useful timeframe after inspecting the damage and planning the work. Parts availability, hidden damage, approvals, refinishing and required checks can change that timeframe. At intake, confirm the best way to reach you. Our team explains inspection findings, outstanding parts or approvals and any change affecting completion, so you know the next step rather than relying on an unqualified finish date.
