However it happened
You don’t need to know the name of a damaged part. Tell us what happened, and we’ll help you understand the next step.
Can’t drive your Tesla?
Call before moving it. We can arrange towing and help coordinate the inspection.
A dent, cracked bumper or scuff—and no note. We inspect the damage and plan the repair. If you open a claim, we document the repair needs and follow up with the insurer.
A damaged hood, liftgate or roof edge needs more than a quick glance. We examine the affected panel, finish, trim and closures before explaining the options.
Paint transfer, gouges and cracked plastic need different solutions. We explain repair versus replacement, whether you’re using insurance or paying directly.
Tell us about warning messages, a door that won’t close or a new pull while driving. Body damage and accident-related handling concerns belong in the same repair plan.
Tesla bodywork, paint & collision repair
A repaired panel should fit correctly. The paint should work with the surrounding finish. And an impact near a wheel deserves a closer look. We plan those details together.
We assess dents, cracks, creases and damaged attachments before recommending repair or replacement. Panel gaps, trim and door or liftgate operation are part of the plan.
Las Vegas sun exposure and previous paintwork can affect the existing finish. We assess the color and surrounding panels when planning preparation, refinishing and blending.
During authorized repairs, disassembly helps reveal damage behind the exterior. The model and repair determine the scans, measurements and ADAS calibration when required.
Does it drive differently after the impact? Our body and mechanical teams work under one roof. We can connect the visible damage with related steering, suspension and alignment concerns after a collision. Damage near the high-voltage battery enclosure requires model-specific assessment before the next steps are confirmed.
Inside our workshop
Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X or Cybertruck: the model year, construction and damage guide the work. We explain what your vehicle needs after seeing it in person.

MODEL 3
Access to the damaged area helps the team inspect what an initial walk-around cannot show.

MODEL X
Doors, closures and affected components guide the work and checks the vehicle needs.

MODEL Y
A technician works on the finish with surrounding trim protected.

CYBERTRUCK
Bring your Cybertruck in so we can inspect the affected panels and explain the appropriate next steps.
Your claim. A person to follow it through.
We work with all insurance companies, including Tesla Insurance, on repairs performed with us. Bring your claim number and any estimate you already have. Our team follows up on the repair estimate, documented supplements and repair payments.
You’ll know what’s approved, what’s pending and what happens next. Hidden damage can change the repair plan. Required scans and calibrations may be added later as they are completed and documented.
Teardown for a supplement is part of an authorized repair job, with the vehicle staying for repairs. It is not a separate teardown-and-reassembly service just to obtain a supplement.
For covered, approved repairs through your own insurance, you pay your applicable deductible. We discuss any coverage issue or work outside the approved claim before asking you to authorize it. Nevada allows you to choose a properly licensed body shop: NRS 690B.016.
A clear next step
Tell us what happened and whether the Tesla can be driven. We arrange an in-person inspection and can coordinate towing.
We inspect visible damage, explain the preliminary estimate and discuss repair authorization and drop-off.
During authorized repairs, we document additional findings, coordinate approvals and explain changes to the plan.
We review repaired areas, paint finish, panel fit and applicable diagnostic results before delivery.
A bumper scrape and a damaged door can need very different repairs. We inspect the vehicle before giving you a meaningful estimate. Repair versus replacement, parts availability, hidden damage and required checks affect both cost and timing.
Insurance review can also affect the schedule. We explain the starting plan and keep you informed when findings, parts or approvals change it.
Why Universal Motorcars?
Your car keeps your day moving. When something goes wrong, start with people who listen—and can connect the bodywork with the rest of the repair.
