From the first call to the finished repair

You bring the plan.
We handle the repair details.

When your administrator needs test results, an estimate or repair documentation, our team communicates with them directly. Explore the steps below.

Step 1 of 6

Tell us what happened

Bring the symptoms, mileage and service-contract information. We identify the claims administrator and the requirements that apply to your plan.

Step 2 of 6

Agree on the diagnosis

We explain the initial testing and its cost, then get your authorization. If disassembly is needed, we discuss that scope before going further.

Step 3 of 6

Find and document the cause

Our technicians diagnose the concern and document the findings, recommended repair and supporting information the claims team needs.

Step 4 of 6

Coordinate the claim

We submit the required repair information and communicate with the administrator. If an inspection is requested, we coordinate access to the vehicle.

Step 5 of 6

Review the approved work

We explain the authorization, deductible, uncovered items and payment arrangements. You approve your responsibility before the repair proceeds.

Step 6 of 6

Repair and review

We complete the authorized repairs, review the work with you, and explain the repair warranty that applies.

Diagnosis and teardown

Testing or disassembly can have a cost even when a claim is denied. We explain the diagnostic scope and your authorization first, then check what the administrator will pay. Authorizing diagnosis does not authorize every repair.

If an inspection is required

The administrator may ask for an inspector to see the vehicle or request more documentation. We coordinate that step and explain what we’re waiting for. Approval, inspection scheduling and parts availability affect the repair timeline.

Partial approval or a denied claim

We review the approved amount and any deductible, uncovered work or difference between the estimate and authorization. If work falls outside your coverage, we explain the repair options and a separate estimate so you can decide what to authorize.

The repair comes first

Mechanical experience
behind the claim.

We service a broad range of vehicles, from domestic and imported daily drivers to luxury vehicles and Tesla. These are common repair areas we diagnose; your contract determines which failures and expenses are covered.

Engine & drivability

Check-engine lights, running problems and internal engine concerns. Testing establishes the failure before a repair is proposed.

Transmission

Shifting concerns, leaks and transmission failures. The estimate and findings give the administrator a specific repair to review.

Air conditioning

Loss of cooling, compressor concerns and related electrical faults. We identify the cause instead of assuming a recharge is the answer.

Cooling system

Leaks, temperature concerns and cooling-system faults. The failed component and any related damage need to be evaluated separately.

Steering & suspension

Clunks, vibration, worn or failed components and steering concerns. Coverage can differ between a mechanical failure and ordinary wear.

Electrical diagnosis

Starting, charging and electrical concerns. A warning message is a starting point for testing, not a diagnosis on its own.

A component appearing in this list does not establish coverage. We match the diagnosed concern to your plan and the administrator’s authorization.

Does the plan cover an EV battery?

Check the exact contract. A high-voltage battery, drive unit, charging component and low-voltage battery are different items. Mechanical failure and gradual capacity loss can also have different treatment.

Before you come in

A few useful answers.

Do I have to use the selling dealership?

That depends on your contract. Many plans allow independent repair facilities; some include dealer or network instructions. Fidelity Warranty Services, for example, directs customers to return to the selling dealer when possible and contact it for assistance when that isn’t possible. Bring your contract so we can check the correct route.

Does work need approval first?

Tell us about your plan before testing or repairs begin. We establish your diagnostic authorization and coordinate the administrator’s required approval before covered repairs proceed. Starting repairs first can affect payment under the contract.

What about towing or a rental?

Check your plan’s assistance number and benefit rules before booking. Ask about approval, reimbursement limits, eligible days and receipts. Call us before towing the vehicle so we can confirm the destination and next step.

Is a service contract the same as a factory warranty?

An extended vehicle service contract is a separate agreement with its own covered items, exclusions, limits and administrator. The name that sold the plan may differ from the company deciding the claim. The contract’s claims instructions tell us whom to contact.
