01 / A closer look
A scraped bumper, a changed panel gap or a new warning light deserves a closer look. The details of your Rover guide what happens next.

01 / Bumpers & headlamps
Sometimes, yes. We check the damage, mounting points and areas around the sensors before making that call. Land Rover limits where and how certain bumpers can be repaired, so the size of the crack isn’t the only factor. If replacement is needed, we’ll explain why on your vehicle.
A headlamp that still lights up can need attention, too. Broken mounts, moisture, aim and adaptive functions all matter. The assessment includes what’s behind the visible damage.
02 / Panels & structure
We look at the depth and location of the damage, the material and whether the panel can be repaired correctly. Doors, fenders and quarter panels are checked along with their hinges, latches, seams and mounting points. Bring another estimate if you have one—we’ll explain the repair-versus-replacement decision.
Structural damage needs a separate assessment. JLR restricts straightening aluminum structures, and some damaged sections require replacement. We review the model-specific procedures and necessary measurements before planning that work.
03 / Paint & finish
That’s what we work toward, and it takes more than looking up the paint code. We compare the existing finish, check the color and plan the preparation and application. Pearl and metallic colors can change with the light and viewing angle, so those details need attention.
Why paint an undamaged panel? Sometimes the color needs to blend into the neighboring panel so the repair doesn’t end at a noticeable color change. We’ll show you which area is involved and why it belongs in your estimate.
04 / Sensors & scans
A clear dashboard doesn’t rule out damage to wiring, sensors or their mounts. JLR calls for diagnostic scanning after collisions, including damage that looks minor. A scan reads electronic information; calibration is a separate procedure that may be required for an affected camera or sensor.
We check the requirements for your Rover’s equipment and the parts removed or replaced, then explain which scans, functional checks and calibration steps belong in the repair. Parking sensors also have refinishing restrictions—they can’t simply be painted over with the bumper.
02 / A dedicated space
We have a dedicated aluminum repair room to keep aluminum work separate from steel dust and particles. Contamination can lead to corrosion and paint problems, so the repair space matters as well as the work itself.
Some damaged aluminum panels can be repaired; others need replacement. We’ll assess the panel, its location and the damage, then explain the method that fits your Rover’s repair requirements.
03 / A closer look at collision damage
The front corner, side panels and rear quarter each tell part of the story. A vehicle assessment helps identify what the complete repair plan needs to address.
The bumper, fender, headlamp area and doors need to be assessed together, including the mounting points behind them.
Panel deformation and exposed rear components call for assessment of the surrounding panels, seams, mounts and connections.
Familiar vehicles. Personal attention.
From the first look to the finishing details, the vehicle in front of us gets a repair plan of its own.

04 / Beyond the bodywork
Pulling, vibration, leaks, a new noise or a change in ride height belongs in the collision conversation—even if your Rover still moves.
Wheel and tire damage, steering, suspension, hubs and mounting points may need assessment before alignment is meaningful.
Suspension design varies. Where air suspension is fitted, a warning or sagging corner calls for diagnosis.
Front impacts may affect cooling parts, fans, wiring and connections. We coordinate those concerns with the body repair.
The checks behind the finish
We identify required pre- and post-repair scans, functional checks, calibration or setup from the applicable manufacturer procedures. Ask us what your vehicle needs and which completion records apply.

Mechanical repairs / Spring Mountain
You don’t have to be in an accident to come to us. Our Spring Mountain team also handles Range Rover and Land Rover mechanical diagnosis, repairs and maintenance.
Tell us what changed and when it happens. We’ll test the cause before recommending repairs to the engine, cooling system or related components.
Cooling & overheating help ↗A vibration, clunk, pulling or uneven ride deserves an inspection. We assess the concern and explain the repair and any alignment work it needs.
Suspension & steering repairs ↗Weak cooling, a rough idle or a change in shifting? Share your model year, mileage and symptoms so we can arrange the right diagnostic visit.
A/C service & repair ↗05 / Insurance or self-pay
Bring your claim information or tell us you’re paying directly. We’ll explain the estimate, authorization and the details that affect timing.
Our preliminary visual collision estimate is free. Walk-ins are welcome. Disassembly, diagnostics and other investigative work are separate and require authorization.
After authorization, we document concealed damage, identify parts and procedures and explain changes to the plan.
We can communicate with your insurer and submit photos and supporting repair information for supplements. Coverage and payment depend on the claim and policy.
Bodywork, paint, reassembly and required checks follow the plan. We keep you informed about progress, parts delays and changes before pickup.
A bumper can look lightly damaged while its brackets, reinforcement or lighting need work. Paint preparation and electronic checks may also be part of the repair. We’ll walk you through the estimate and explain what each part of the job is for.
An insurer’s photo estimate may only show the outside damage. Once the vehicle is here and you authorize disassembly, we can inspect underneath, photograph additional findings and submit the repair information for review. We’ll explain any unresolved coverage or cost before you authorize that work.
How hidden damage changes an estimate ↗We don’t order collision parts until your Rover is in the shop and the authorized teardown is complete. What looks like one damaged part can involve mounts, brackets and other components behind it. Seeing the full damage lets us build the parts order together.
We review the proposed parts and the applicable repair procedures, then explain availability, insurance questions and any cost difference. Parts delays, additional findings and required setup can affect the schedule. You’ll know what we’re waiting for and what comes next.

Choose a location ↗Yes. Our Spring Mountain location handles Range Rover and Land Rover mechanical diagnosis, repair and maintenance, including engine and cooling concerns, brakes, A/C, steering and suspension. No. Nevada lets you choose the licensed body shop that repairs your vehicle. If you want Universal to handle it, bring us your claim number and estimate. We’ll help with the repair paperwork and explain unresolved parts, coverage or charges. Shop choice doesn’t make every charge automatically covered; the policy and reasonable repair rates still apply. Nevada’s shop-choice rule ↗
Yes. Bring the estimate from your insurer or another shop and let us look at the vehicle with you. We’ll explain what the estimate includes, whether it reflects the visible damage and what may still need inspection. Two totals are only useful to compare when you know which parts, paint work and checks each one covers.
We handle both. Start with an inspection and estimate so you know what you’re comparing with your deductible. Keep in mind that hidden damage can change the total. Your insurer or agent can explain your reporting obligations and how a claim could affect your policy; we can explain the repair itself.
We’ll go through the parts on your estimate with you. JLR’s published position does not approve aftermarket replacement parts or salvaged collision components, but an insurance estimate may list alternatives. We review the proposed parts against the repair requirements and address differences with the insurer. We’ll explain any unresolved cost difference before you authorize that work.
We don’t order collision parts until the vehicle is in the shop and the authorized teardown is complete. A visible bumper may be only one item; brackets, mounts and other damaged parts can be hidden behind it. Seeing the full damage lets us build the parts order together. We’ll explain the drop-off and authorization steps with you.
We’ll give you a timeframe after inspecting the damage and checking the parts needed. Additional findings, insurer review, parts availability and required electronic checks can change it. If a part is delayed, we’ll tell you what we’re waiting for and how it affects the next stage. We won’t give you a firm pickup date while a critical part is still uncertain.
Not automatically. Deployed airbags are one part of the full damage assessment. The insurer considers the required repairs, the vehicle’s value and the rules that apply to the claim. We document the damage and repair requirements for that review. A photograph or an airbag warning alone isn’t enough to promise the outcome.
Don’t use the fact that it moves—or has no warning light—as proof that it’s safe to drive. A leak, damaged wheel, steering change, overheating or an uneven ride is a reason to stop and arrange towing. Call us with the year, model, where it was hit and what you’ve noticed. We can help coordinate the next step.
Yes. Call with the vehicle’s location and any claim details. We can help coordinate towing and authorized impound retrieval. The owner’s authorization, release requirements and outstanding charges need to be addressed before the vehicle can leave. We’ll explain what information we need to get that process moving.
We can help coordinate a rental through Enterprise. Tell us before drop-off if you need an SUV or have another practical requirement. The rental company’s availability, vehicle category, payment arrangement and coverage allowance need to be confirmed. If the repair runs longer, a rental extension also needs approval from whoever is paying.
Our limited lifetime collision warranty covers applicable paint and workmanship for as long as the original repair customer owns the vehicle, subject to the written terms. It is not transferable. Ask us to go through the coverage with you before repairs begin. Mechanical repairs have separate warranty terms; this collision warranty does not cover every part or service on the vehicle.
