Low brake fluid needs prompt assessment. If the brake pedal is soft or sinks, stopping ability changes, a brake-fluid leak is suspected, or a red brake warning stays on with the parking brake released, stop somewhere safe and arrange assistance. Do not drive to the shop or rely on a top-up to restore safe braking.
